Brad has been drawing cars since he was a kid, and was always trying out new ideas whether on paper or while building those great old model kits in the
60’s. He continued his passion and went on to graduate from the prestigious Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California with a major in Industrial Design and a minor in Automotive Illustration. His work has been featured in many publications including Collectible Automobile, Chevy Truck, American Rodder, Rod & Custom, and Street Rod Builder and he has been a regular contributing artist to Scale Auto Enthusiast for nearly 20 years. If you are looking to have some new ideas for that old project under the tarp, you want a portrait of an existing or a dream car, or you need design services, give Brad a call or an email!
Sheryl has collected model horses since 1969 and has been an active participant in the model horse collecting hobby for over 25 years. She produced The West Coast Model Horse Collectors Jamboree for thirteen years, and also produced The Model Horse Trader newsletter, which was sent to hundreds of happy subscribers for almost ten years. Painting horse models professionally since the age of fifteen, she has painted hundreds of prototypes and special run models for Breyer, The Stone Co. and Hartland Horses. She has also sculpted her own line of limited edition resin horses. Horse models that Sheryl
has painted and re-sculpted are consistent winners from local model horse competitions up to the National Level. Be sure and visit her at BreyerFest in the Artisan’s Gallery at the Clarion Hotel in Lexington, Kentucky every July!
Sheryl began teaching many different art classes at BreyerFest over a decade ago and continues to instruct children and adults in classes there and in her studio located in Mariposa, California near Yosemite National Park.
Hundreds of custom painted horses have come through her studio in the past decade, and she finds it a challenge to see how detailed a horse model can get! She also delights in hearing when a model horse she painted wins for its owner in the model show ring. She's especially known for her Appaloosa and dapple techniques. See her painted horse gallery for examples of her work, and check out her custom models for sale pages to see what’s currently available. She will also have frequent updates on her “What’s in the Studio” page.
Custom orders are gladly accepted for painted models of any kind. Give a call or send an email! She loves meeting fellow horse enthusiasts!Look for her series of instructional DVDs coming soon!
